I Have a Dream....

If you've ever seen the movie Pretty Woman with Julia Roberts and Richard Gere, you might remember the homeless guy at the beginning and end of the movie that says something like, "Welcome to Hollywood. What's your dream? EVERYbody's got a dream!" I was thinking about him today, because man I've been having strange dreams lately. They say that dreams are a reflection of our innermost desires. If that's the case, I really want to be grading Senior Projects soon, because that's what I've been dreaming about! Can't wait.

However, before I get those turned into me this Friday, I can still dream of something wonderful that will happen to me or my loved ones. Tell me what are your dreams? What do you want to accomplish? What to do you hope to achieve? Either that, or tell me about a real dream you've had.

Can't wait to hear from you,
~Anngela :)

  1. I guess my dream is to get a novel published, but really if it never happens, I'll be okay. Just being able to write is fulfilling a dream. So is being a mother of six great kids. I won't go into my real dreams. They can be soooo bizarre. Makes good story fodder, though.

  2. A dream that I have is to be someone's mentor to how they recieve their education. I want them to be able to see all the opppurtunities that are out there and realize that you can do anything with your life... you just have to put your mind to it.

  3. Hmmm... Interesting question... My real dreams are usually crazy. Just the other night I had a dream that I was at the hospital with my sister when she was having my nephew. (She really did have the baby last Wednesday by the way, so this part is real). Anyway... after Kayla had Clayton I went to leave. It was about mid-morning and I had spent the whole night at the hospital. In my dream, I was very surprised to see one of our friends from horse shows in the parking lot. He told me that he was taking me home. I then refused and said I have to get my truck home... he absolutely wouldn't take no for an answer so I told him I would go grab breakfast with him so I could convince him that I wasn't tired after the whole night in the hospital. As I was about to get into his car he said that he wouldn't let me drive home and he was just taking me home even though we had agreed he would just take me to breakfast. Being the stubborn person that I am, I said "Ok," turned, and walked away. I said "This is what I want to do and you can't stop me," as I went to get into my truck. (I realize it seems immature but I just wanted to get my own way :) ) He then grabbed me and pushed me into his car and told me "Yes, I can." I remember being so frustrated because for some reason, I knew I had to get my truck home. I don't know what happened after this because I woke up. I realize that this is crazy and I don't have any idea what this says about me. This is my most recent dream and I think it was a crazy one because it seemed so real... These kind of dreams always make me wonder "What was I thinking when I went to sleep last night?? "

  5. One of my dreanms is being with a girl but sometimes when i wake up from the dream i dont remember what her face looks like. And for a guy that can get very frustrating. But my dreams for life would be to go to college, get a job in the feild that i am writting about in my senior project and then raise a family of my own and live a very honest life, seems simple enough but i have got a long way to go to accomplish that dream.
